Could be:

1. Dongle overheating. try removing the casing.

2. USB/Aerial connector not properly secured. Check if the usb connector and aerial are secured properly.

3. The software is resource intensive. try to turn off any running software and internet connection. Also its better to start the s/ware yourself rather than starting on boot
